Evolution Consulting & Research, the industry-leading biopharmaceutical consulting and research firm based in Blue Bell, Pa., recently welcomed Joe Ford and Christine Holcomb, senior research consultants who possess extensive marketing research and healthcare experience to support the needs of the firm’s healthcare clients. Ford joins Evolution with more than 15 years of primary and secondary marketing research experience across a number of health-related industries, including pharmaceuticals. Holcomb is a seasoned researcher with both pharmaceutical and medical device market research expertise.

Ford’s background in primary research includes patient and physician segmentation, message and concept testing, positioning, and choice studies. He has managed projects with many of the largest pharmaceutical and biotech companies, and across a vast cross-section of therapies including diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, HIV, obesity, schizophrenia, women’s health, cardiology, and pain management. Most recently, Ford was Vice President of Insights and Analytics at an advertising agency serving the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, and he previously held market research positions at a number of other firms.
Ford earned an M.B.A. from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Economics from Villanova University.
Holcomb is responsible for managing and designing domestic and global qualitative and quantitative studies. During her career, she has developed proficiency in a variety of methodologies, including new product development, positioning, message and concept testing, brand image, sales aid testing, and market assessment studies. Holcomb is adept at conducting research with a broad range of respondent types, including opinion leaders, physicians, nurses, patients/consumers, executives, and sales representatives. Prior to joining Evolution, she worked as a subcontractor with a major pharmaceutical company market research team, responsible for monitoring the top 13 markets. She has also worked as a pharmaceutical market research consultant.
Holcomb received her B.S. in Marketing from LaSalle University.
