Joe Ford brings to Evolution more than 15 years of primary and secondary marketing research experience across a number of industries, including pharmaceuticals, media, IT and consumer packaged goods. His background in primary research includes patient and physician segmentation, message and concept testing, positioning, and choice studies; areas of secondary data analysis include prescribing activity, media spend, social listening, and managed markets
Among his professional accomplishments, Joe led a major qualitative study to determine key drivers of access and reimbursement messaging, as delivered to both physicians and office staff. The results of this study led a large biotech company to revise its entire managed markets communication strategy. Joe was also responsible for the development, commercialization and maintenance of a syndicated data solution for physician targeting and promotion optimization and was in charge of all post-sale client management associated with the product.
Joe has managed projects with many of the largest pharmaceutical and biotech companies, and across a vast cross-section of therapies including diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, HIV, obesity, schizophrenia, women’s health, cardiology, pain management.
Prior to joining Evolution, Mr. Ford was Vice President of Insights and Analytics at an advertising agency serving the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and has held market research positions at a number of other firms.
Mr. Ford earned an M.B.A. from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Economics from Villanova University.
